Precautions for on-site use of pneumatic butterfly valves
Release:创始人Date:2024-12-04

Pneumatic butterfly valves are usually a combination formed by connecting, installing, and debugging pneumatic actuators, valve bodies, and accompanying accessories. This article mainly introduces the precautions for on-site use of pneumatic butterfly valves.

1. The control cabinet sent a signal that the valve did not move. After on-site observation, it was found that the pneumatic control butterfly valve was installed with a locator and an electromagnetic valve was added. The strong electrical interference of the electromagnetic valve interfered with the signal output of the control cabinet, and the valve could not receive the signal, so it could not work normally.

Solution: Remove the solenoid valve and eliminate strong electrical interference to ensure normal operation of the equipment. (Note: The function of the solenoid valve is to open and close the valve, while the function of the locator is to control the opening of the valve with a 4 to 20mA signal. Therefore, it is not necessary to install the solenoid valve with the locator installed.).

2. After switching from automatic to manual mode, it cannot return to automatic mode; Due to excessive force applied by the on-site operator, the clutch was pulled too far, causing the internal gears to get stuck and unable to be pulled back into automatic mode.

Solution: When pulling the clutch, the handwheel should rotate back and forth to disengage the internal turbine, making it easy to switch between manual and automatic modes (be sure to pull up the yellow sleeve next to it when switching between manual and automatic modes).

3. The valve is working normally, but the feedback has been in a 100% state. It was only after communicating with the on-site wiring personnel that they found out that the wires on site were thick and hard, making it inconvenient to connect. This caused a screw to fall off, and the wiring personnel directly tightened an elongated screw, causing the module to be pushed by the screw and causing a short circuit.

Solution: Replace with a regular screw model; Suggest using thin wires for the connected lines.
